The Tempest
The
TEMPEST Drying System is a cyclonic dryer manufactured to meet
the specific needs of each customer. The design of the system is
dependent upon the type of material to be processed. If a variety of
materials are to be processed with one unit, then the design will be a
function of the limiting material. The Tempest has received a patented
status on the method and apparatus in the US.

Reasons to use the Tempest Drying System
Completely mobile or stationary
- Entire Tempest Drying System is manufactured on an enclosed tri-axle trailer or open 8 ½' x 48' semi-trailer
- May also be skid mounted for stationary applications
- designed to operate either with electric motors or Caterpillar diesel engines.

Capital and operating costs drastically reduced
- No expensive furnaces, boilers or steam generators are necessary
- Only energy required to operate is for the air handling and conveying equipment
- Utilizes technology at a fraction of the capital and operational cost normally associated with traditional thermal drying technologies
The answer for class "A" biosolids production
- meets Class A requirements for municipal biosolids in accordance with Title 40 CFR Part 503 Standards for the Use or Disposal of Sewage Sludge
Volume reduction equals lower hauling costs
Majority
of biosolids, whether
municipal, agricultural or industrial sludges, are transported with an
extremely high concentration of water (usually exceeding 80%)- Can reduce the water content to less than 15% and provide savings to the originator of the sludge.
Endless applications
- The list of materials the Tempest can process is practically endless <>In addition to biosolids and animal waste, the Tempest Technology can dry coal fines, agricultural wastes, citrus pulp, paper sludge and lime sludge -
Virtually ANYTHING that needs moisture removed!
