gasification plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. GRRO entered into an
agreement with Johnson Gas Appliance Company in late 2009 to
exclusively manufacture the Tempest Drying Systems. Located in
Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Johnson Gas Appliance has been in business since
1901, and has built and distributed quality products in over fifty-five
countries worldwide and is known for its high standards of quality,
safety, efficiency, durability, dependability and service.
Marion Mixers of Marion, Iowa will distribute the Tempest through their extensive worldwide marketing division. “Finally we have a versatile unit that can be shipped anywhere in the world.” explains Greg Stover, Director of Sales and Marketing. He goes on to say, “Marion Mixers is proud to lend its expertise in the Biomass and Biosolids markets”, GRRO founder and Chairman Loran Balvanz commented. “After 10 years of development and the granting of two patents on our technology, the timing of this unit could not be better. Many waste streams can now be converted to energy products for gasification and/or combustion to replace fossil fuel. The market is endless” Our New Tempest Quad System requires only an Ethernet card to run four units from one control. More may be added as capacity is needed.
